Last Thursday, May 11th, the international launch of the INSULAW INTERNATIONAL network of law firms specialized in insurance law took place in the City of London. Companies and organizations from the insurance market worldwide attended the event. The association currently comprises over 35 law firms with 52 offices and more than 1,400 lawyers distributed across the Americas, Asia, and Europe, operating as a single firm for all practical purposes. All the member firms have been recognised internationally by the most important directories.
During the presentation ceremony, Jesús Vélez, president of INSULAW INTERNATIONAL and managing partner of Azsure Abogados, stated that “as a consequence of globalization, law firms have to face a challenge, of being able to adapt to the needs of our clients wherever they may require. The more interconnected we all are, the greater our ability to address their cross-border issues. The proposal of INSULAW INTERNATIONAL represents a change in the current landscape of law firms worldwide, as it includes the most qualified firms in each jurisdiction, guaranteeing effective advice to their clients without the need to adhere to the structural rigidity of large firms.
